NIGHTLIFE
STYLISH BUENOS AIRES

Take a cat nap, down your coffee and be prepared to stay up all night – this is a city that never sleeps! Restaurants open at 10pm, bars at midnight and clubs at 2am – at the very earliest. If you’re cool, of course, you’ll show up after 4am and dance till dawn. International DJs are the rage, spinning electronica and house to legions of hip, trendy and well-dressed crowds.

TANGO
CLASSSIC ATTRACTION

Nothing captures the essence of Buenos Aires like the sensual and melancholy tango, and no visit to the city is complete without experiencing tango in some form. Watch it in a San Telmo or La Boca street fair, see a slick show at a theater or join a milonga (dance event) at dozens of venues.

Gay & Lesbian Buenos Aires

In July 2010 Argentina became the first Latin American country to legalize same-sex marriage. Since then, Buenos Aires has become a huge gay destination, lending momentum to local events such as the Marcha del Orgullo Gay and the Queer Tango Festival

BUENOS AIRES - ARGENTINA

Capital of the Argentine Republic is located on the River Plate coast
The Río de la Plata and the Riachuelo are the natural borders of the city on the east and south, respectively. The rest of the metropolitan perimeter is surrounded by the General Paz Avenue from north to west. This avenue provides a fast connection between the city and the Greater Buenos Aires, a densely populated area with important business and industrial activity.Buenos Aires has always been an open-door city.

Its inhabitants are called porteños, which makes reference to the fact that the city is a port. The inhabitant of the province of Buenos Aires is called bonaerense. The official language is Spanish. Something to note is the use of vos (you) instead of the Spanish tú for informal treatment, and the use of che to address a person. Most people involved in tourist activities speak English.
