Snarky Puppy has passed of being the kept better secret of the modern jazz to become one of the names more respected in the instrumental musical scene. The band, eulogized by important media like the BBC, Village Voice, The Guardian, and Boston Herald, as well as for musicians very respected around the world like Pat Metheny and Prince, Snarky Puppy is one of the consecrated bands of the moment, being able to head the lists of jazz of Itunes with its album "Family Dinner - Volume 1", winner of Grammy 2013.
The band is characterized mainly to use the live improvisation as its main form of evangelism, maintaining for this an intense tour for the world: in the course of 2013, Snarky Puppy almost gave 200 shows and shops in four continents, including the North Sea Jazz, the Festival of Jazz of Monterey, Jazz a Vienne, Blue Note of Tokyo, and the Melbourne International Jazz Festival.
